Groomsmen

I was just informed that I left off two groomsmen from my "Get to know the Wedding Party". My apologies to McClain and Victor. It was me being absent minded and nothing else. So, without further ado, I present the boys.

Registered

Ben and I finally registered this past weekend. It was a lot more overwhelming than I thought it would be. We had a good time and registered for some great items. Of course Ben had complete control of the gun.

We still have a little more to do and hopefully can finish that this week so I can check it off my list of To Do.

Pink Peonies - Bouquet Idea

Still trying to get bouquet ideas. I love the color of this bouquet, but I think I want mine to be a little more loose than this particular bouquet. Getting close.

3 Months

Holy Cow. 3 months until the big day. Oh dear, let the stress begin. Here is a list of things to do:


Your Wedding Checklist: Two to three months before your wedding____
Give a list of "Must Take" photographs to your wedding photographer____
Discuss your wedding menu with your caterer____
Meet with your officiant to discuss the wedding ceremony____
Attend any bridal showers____
Mail your wedding invitations____
Think about your hair and makeup - If you're doing your own, try out hairstyles, purchase any extra makeup, think about having a "makeover party" with your girlfriends.____
Book your hairstylist and/or makeup artist, if you're using them. Meet with each of them to experiment with styles and colors____
Schedule your wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner____
If your state requires it for a marriage license, make blood test appointments____
If you're going to change your name, complete those documents____
Send wedding announcements to local newspapers

Bridal Bouquet

I am really loving this bouquet. Hum, possibility. Better make my mind up soon since I will be marrying Ben in almost 3 months. Yikes.

Reception

Can we say COCKTAIL HOUR?? This is the front porch of Stewartfield House, where the reception will be held. Actually, cocktail hour will be held.

This is the view of the golf course. The reception will take place right HERE. Picture May when all of the flowers are in bloom. This picture was taken in November.

The patio out back. Maybe where the dance floor will be set up, or the band, or just tables. Undecided...

4 MONTHS

Until the Big Day!! Aagghhh, I have so much to do, I don't know where to begin.
This month I need to go to:

1. attend pre marriage class
2. register
3. book honeymoon
4. order invitations

ONLY 4 Months. Start booking your plane tickets!!!

Laundry List

As 2009 is upon us, so is my wedding. I have a laundry list of things I need to take care of before the big day.

1. Buy Wedding Bands
2. Pick a Florist
3. Confirm Rehearsal Dinner Location
4. Plan and Book Honeymoon
5. Register
6. Arrange Musicians for Ceremony
7. and much much more.

Any suggestions as to where we should honeymoon??

Bridesmaid Dress

It's official, the dresses are bought and paid for. I found my bridesmaid dresses at J Crew. I had two styles picked out and let the girls decide on which one they liked best. The color I chose is bright rhubarb. I am excited to have them picked out and purchased. J Crew is the way too go.
